2019 Hero Fund America Grants Awarded

Hero Fund America would like to congratulate the following three departments who have been chosen as 2019 Hero Fund grant recipients, administered by The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties in Utica, New York.

The Otter Lake Fire Department in Otter Lake, NY – to purchase UTV wild land firefighting equipment.

The Newberry Fire Department, Newberry, Fl – funds will assist with advanced EMS training, fire operations & tactical training, driver engineer training & fire officer basic & advanced training.

And The South Minden Fire Department in Fort Plain, NY – their grant will assist with the purchase of communication equipment & reflective gear. Thank you to all of the applicants and to this years award recipients!
