Starting Monday, September 16 we will begin a week long $5,000 matching campaign supporting the Hero Fund America Fund. Every dollar donated will be matched 1:1.

The Hero Fund America Fund at the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties recently awarded over $20,000 to 17 first-responder organizations across the United States.

Our 2024 grant round is open through 6/30 to Fire, EMS & Law Enforcement Agencies in the U.S. The fund provides grants to benefit the education, training, life-saving equipment and mental health needs of first responders. 

The 2024 grant round will open on June 1. Fire, EMS & Law Enforcement Agencies may apply for up to $2,000 in funding.
