We’ll follow the winding path of the Mahicannituck (ma-he-kahn-ni-tuck) – a name first spoken by the Mahicans, who knew its moods and mysteries long before us. Along the way, you’ll uncover clues, unravel hidden histories, and discover secrets tucked into river towns and country roads. Buckle up, sharpen your wits, and get ready for an adventure where history, mystery, and fun all ride together. Before Henry Hudson’s arrival, the river that is now known as the Hudson, was called the Mahicannituck, which means “river that flows both ways.”
