Prudence Dechene is a young professional in the hospitality industry. Having been born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains before attending St. Lawrence University, Prudence had exposure to tourism and hospitality from a young age. After completing her Bachelor’s degree at St. Lawrence, Prudence moved to Key West, FL where she was fully immersed in a 365 day-a-year tourism and hospitality community. After four years in Key West, Prudence returned to the Adirondacks to begin managing vacation rental properties in the southeastern part of the park. Prudence first became involved with Hero Fund America after she moved back to New York and has been an enthusiastic teammate since.
