6th annual Run 4 the Hills for First Responders, May 4, 2019

If you haven’t experienced it yet, our annual signature event will lift your spirits, elevate your heart rate, and remind you why supporting Hero Fund America is so important! Online registration is open. This year we are offering a $1,000 cash prize for each first place finishing team competing in Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement (along with trophies), individual ribbons in each division (1st, 2nd & 3rd place) and a pair of New Balance sneakers to the first male & female finisher with an open drawing for the third! All wrapped up with a post-race party behind the American Hotel in Sharon Springs that you will never forget. Don’t want to participate but interested in sponsorships? 2018 HFA FUND grant awards announced!

Congratulations to our 2018 HFA Fund grant recipients, administered through the Community Foundation of Oneida & Herkimer Counties: the Southern University Police Department, Baton Rouge, LA, the Sharon Springs Joint Fire District, Sharon Springs, NY, Global Rescue Systems, Morrisville, MO, & the Niagara Engine Company No. 6 Schoharie Fire Department, Schoharie, NY. HFA 2018 Grant Opportunity!

All EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement Agencies may apply for our 2018  HFA Fund grant opportunity through September 15, 2018. If your department is in need of equipment, additional training or education, we encourage you to apply. Follow this link to find the grant intake form. The HFA endowment Fund is administered through our friends at the Oneida-Herkimer Community Foundation in Utica, NY.

We promise one of the most spectacular scenic drives throughout the Adirondack, Green and Berkshire Mountains for a stunning two day driving experience you will never forget. Proceeds will benefit the HFA Endowment Fund which makes grants supporting education, training and life saving equipment needs for first responders.
